Who
Am I?
I am a
woman and the first born of my proud parents; and by profession, I'm a doctor
which was the dream of my parents since my early childhood, although I was very
much interested in mathematics and basic science. All praises go to Almighty
Allah (SWT) who enabled me with the talent to be qualified in the top most
medical Institution in Bangladesh (Dhaka Medical College).
My
grandfather inspired me to be a social leader, although I couldn't reach up to
the level yet. He’s my best friend until he passed away (May Allah grant him
for Jannat-ul Ferdous). If he got his life a few months more, might be I had to
choose to be an economist rather than a physician. He was a Muslim scholar and
I learned the Qura'n and Tafsir (explanation) from him. His desire was firstly I
would be a good a Muslim.
My Mother
is the first teacher in my learning process, then my father who built up me as
the best. They guided me in such a way that I was always first in my class, as
well as in the whole school until I entered in the medical college. I have to
remember my youngest paternal uncle who passed away (May Allah accept him for
Jannah) without his assistance it was impossible for me to be here where I'm
now. All my uncles were very much caring about my career. My special prays
for them. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my teachers who
made me Dr. Shahnur Begum.
My 4
sisters and 2 brothers; all are very much beloved to me. All sisters are graduated
with master degree from renowned University and they are teachers by profession.
My elder brother is a layer having master degree from University and the
younger (youngest among us) brother is lieutenant (Navy) with BSc.
(Engineering). Recently he was awarded
with Gold medal for his extraordinary performance in his engineering
course.
My husband,
a world leading specialist on operation research and manufacturing engineer is
my best friend since I was second year medical student. He is one of the keys
of my success. My two lovely kids is my world, without their sacrifice it was quite
impossible to achieve my post graduation degrees.
On my life
journey, I met a good number of friends, everyone one was a special to me.
Still I have a few and it will be injustice if I fail to express my deepest appreciations
for them.
I was attached
with a few social organizations. The organizations educated successfully making
me an effective social human-being and made access route for me to get into the
new developed world.
Here, in Malaysia
I am being guided by a few academic and professional scholars who are my guru. My sincere gratitude goes for them as they
made me a competent public health specialist.
This blog
is the dossier of my life; writing to share with my friends and followers.
